Check-in
Be in time for check-in, this time may differ depending on the airline, please check with your airline. Check-in online, or in the airline app, is recommended for all our passengers. You must print your boarding card in advance and bring it to the airport or have your boarding card in the app. Please visit the airline website for instructions and information.
Airport check-in and bag-drop opens two hours prior to flight departure and closes 40 min before departure.

Wizz Air customers, please observe that for purchases of Wizz Air’s services (e.g. flight tickets, rebookings and additional services), a service fee of SEK50-200 per service will apply when paying at the airport.
Stockholm Skavsta Airport recommend all passengers to be at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight departure, as you might have to spend some time queuing to check-in/baggage drop, security check and passport control. You must be present at the gate at least 30 minutes before your flight departure.
Please observe that check-in closes in regular time, even if the flight is delayed.
Pack all articles, which can be classed as pointed weapons, this includes scissors, nail files, knives, cork-screws and tools or any liquids in larger receptacles than 1 dl, in your checked-in baggage. Put all liquid that you want to bring as cabin luggage, in less than 1 dl receptacles, in a 1 liter resealable plastic bag. Only one bag per passenger is allowed.
To avoid long queues to the security check area, please be aware of the restrictions for hand luggage.

Security check
Your safety and security is our top priority. All passengers and all luggage will be searched before starting the journey. Enhanced security can take time, so please be patient with any additional personal and luggage searches. Have the following instructions in mind when entering the security check to shorten the time taken to pass through the control area:
- Keep your boarding card ready for inspection at the security entrance.
- Empty your pockets and place mobiles, keys and coins in your hand baggage or in the plastic box.
- Take off your coat, cap/hat and belt and empty your pockets before you pass through the metal-detector.
- Computers and larger electronical equipment must be taken out of their bags and x-rayed separately.
- The plastic bag with liquids must be controlled separately. Put the plastic bag in a plastic box. All other allowed liquids will be screened separately by special technical equipment.
- Place your hand baggage on the conveyor belt.
- Pass through the metal-detector. Even if you do not set of the alarm you might be selected for a manual check.
If any forbidden items are found during the security controls, you will be asked to go back to the check-in counter and check-in the article, or throw the article away.
