Baby Food Facilities

Facilities for warming baby food can be found in the restaurant after Security check.

Strollers and pushchairs

Departures
Large strollers must be checked in at the airport desk for Special Baggage, while smaller pushchairs or buggys can be brought through Security check and to the airplane.

We recommend that you buy a protection plastic bag for your checked-in stroller in the Service Center, for a fee of SEK 60. The bag keeps the stroller protected against dirt and that loose parts get stuck and/or destroyed in the baggage handling process.

If you bring the pushchair or buggy through Security check, you will be asked to remove your baby for a few minutes as the buggy will need to go through the x-ray machine separately.

Before boarding the airplane, you must leave the pushchair beside the aircrafts’ front stairway.

Arrivals
When arriving to the airport, you will find the pushchair beside the aircrafts’ front stairway. If you do not want to pick up the pushchair at the aircraft, it will be brought with the rest of the checked-in luggage to Baggage Claim in the Arrival hall, where also checked-in strollers will be picked-up.

Note that sometimes you have to climb and go down stairs on the way from the aircraft to the Arrival hall.

Through Security

Baby milk and baby food are considered to be essential items and therefore you will be able to carry the milk in bottles containing more than 100ml in your hand luggage if necessary. When passing through security check, you have to remove the baby milk and food from your hand luggage to be controlled separately.

Jars are preferable to cartons as the jars are easier to check and can be resealed.
Nappies and wet wipes are permitted but any creams, pastes, lotions or gels must be of no more than 100ml maximum placed in a 1 litre resealable clear plastic bag as per the restrictions on liquids.

You may pack jars of food and prepared cartons of sealed formula milk in your hold luggage.
A pushchair or buggy may be taken through security search. You will be asked to remove your baby for a few minutes as the buggy will need to go through the x-ray machine separately.

Baby Changing Facilities

All the handicap toilets are equipped with changing tables, provide comfort and privacy for passengers travelling with babies. There are one handicap toilet in every toilet facility. Toilet facilities are situated in the check-in hall, the departure hall and in the arrival baggage hall.
